    Dr. MacNeice is a research associate professor in the Physics Department of Drexel University. He is in charge of developing the numerical methods, 2-D models, and 3-D models required to simulate MHD processes in the Sun and Heliosphere. He also developed the "Paramesh" algorithm for adaptive mesh refinement that is used in a wide variety of research fields. He is training other team members in the use of these codes, and actively collaborating with Dusan Odstracil (University of Colorado) and Bill Abbett (University of California, Berkeley). Dr. MacNeice also has significant professional ties with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
