He is investigating magnetic configurations that may lead to CME events, and is collaborating with Peter MacNeice (Drexel University), George Fisher, Janet Luhmann, Steve Ledvina and Bill Abbett (UC Berkeley), and Dana Longcope (Montana State University) to perform numerical simulations of the evolution of these magnetic configurations.
