The celebrated "tsunami" flare SOL2006-12-06, often shown in movie form to marveling audiences, also was a world's-record radio emitter. But, the humongous decimetric spike burst was delayed some 45 min from the flare onset, putting it in the domain of the type IV bursts and the loop prominence system. This paper argues that (somehow) field-aligned potential drops could help to reconcile this phenomenon with difficulties perceived in the interpretation as electron cyclotron masering. In any case, the Archivist is delighted to see non-MHD concepts rise to the fore.
