Schmieder, B., and Pariat, E., Magnetic Flux Emergence, Scholarpedia 2(12):4335 (2007).

Not a flare cartoon, again, but a nice dissection of the emerging flux that sets the stage for a flare. Here we see large-scale magnetic flux fighting its way through hostile convective motions and bravely emerging. Here "EB" means "Ellermann Bomb," which Ellermann himself called "hydrogen bombs." "MMF" is a "Moving Magnetic Feature." This cartoon is the first in the Archive from an on-line source, namely in this case Scholarpedia, but we'll probably also start finding them in sources such as the Living Reviews in Solar Physics too.
