One of the pecularities of stellar flares, e.g. those on dMe flare stars, is an occasional "dimming," not to be confused with CME-related effects. We don't see this phenomenon in the otherwise highly analogous case of the solar flare, unless perhaps one counts the "negative bursts" sometimes see in microwaves.
