A simple cartoon, rivaling in simplicity the offering seen in the White cartoon, the only other from PASA in this Archive. It represents early thinking on electrodynamic theories of flare physics, which to the Archivist's point of view could be extremely helpful in understanding some of the problems left over from MHD.
