YAFTA (Yet Another Feature Tracking Algorithm)
==============================================
This directory contains a suite of IDL routines I'm developing to track 
magnetogram features.  It includes a skeletal instruction manual, and 
some tutorial programs to get users started.  To get started, download 
the YAFTA.tar.gz file, unpack it with tar -zxvf YAFTA.tar.gz , change 
to the newly-created YAFTA directory, and read one of the 
YAFTA_Intro.p* files.

ILCT Routines
=============
ilct.pro  	--- Inductive local correlation tracking code.
bpoisson.pro 	--- an FFT Poisson solver; also bundled in ILCT.PRO.
xderiv.pro 	--- an FFT differentiator; also bundled in ILCT.PRO.
yderiv.pro 	--- an FFT differentiator; also bundled in ILCT.PRO.
ilct_interface.pro  --- a wrapper routine for interfacing ILCT for a 
			particular data set of mine.

IDL Visualization Tools
=======================
movie_vecimg.pro --- written by D. Bercik, makes movies of 
		     vectors over background
		     

display.pro --- generates a scaled image, essentially a 
	        wrapper for IDL's TVSCL.PRO; by Fen Tamanaha
imgexp.pro  --- utility for DISPLAY.PRO
imgscl_fen.pro  --- utility for DISPLAY.PRO


bgvect.pro --- useful for overplotting several vector fields
	       on an image generated by DISPLAY.PRO
reduce.pro --- reduces density of vector fields, for making 
	       prettier plots; used by BGVECT.PRO
sig_dig.pro --- culls number to specified significance; used 
		by BGVECT.PRO
